LOOP, EASY
Moreland Woods Park at the end of Orrison Street. LINEAR, EASY
Trinity Woods to Worcester Hospital Farm (includes a section of the East Side Trail) Park at corner of Trinity Ave. and Bryn Mawr Ave. Trail entrance is between 75 & 77 Trinity Ave. Middle River Boardwalk 3 Paul Clancy Way (for GPS use 115 McKeon Road) Worcester, MA 01607 LOOP, MODERATE
Blueberry Hill
Start at the parking area trailhead and hike a loop of the main trail Bovenzi Conservation Area
Start at the end of Maravista Road and hike a loop of the hill, and out and back to Marchen Drive Trailhead. Broad Meadow Brook Savannah
Park at the Dunkirk Ave. trailhead. Crow Hill
Starting at the formal trail head across from the Ecotarium and follow the Silver Trail to the summit, loop below summit, and return. Kinneywoods
Drive to the end of Dawson Road off of Olean Street and park on the right. The trail will be directly behind the gate in front of you. Nick’s Woods
Park at Stetson Road off Brattle Street, Walk north on Brattle and cross to Smith Lane, and down Smith Lane, then down the cart path to the left. Hike across bridge. Go by the boulders, across the broken dam, up the road to the pine glen, then back down to the cart road as a loop. Southwick – Muir Meadow & Southwick Loop
Park at the end of Walbridge Street. Sibley Farm
Park in Greenville Street Lot Spring Ledge Farm Enter where there is a break in the stone wall at the end of Chapin Road and park. LINEAR, MODERATE
Coes Pond
Park by Stearn's Tavern on Mill Street. The path goes across the dam and the bridge on its way to the boardwalk and eventually Hadwen Arboretum. Difley Family Forest
Enter by the Ilig Pond Trailhead and follow past the Paxton Center Elementary School Kettle Brook
A little tricky! Turn onto McCarthy Ave. off of Rte 9 on the Leicester-Worcester Line and cross the bridge. Turn left onto Brook Street, then, on the left, park in front of the forest gate. Parsons Marois
Park on Merchant Street off of Apricot Street alongside the park. Walk downhill (East) down Apricot Street to the trailhead. LONG, LINEAR, CHALLENGING
Asnebumskit Ridge Park on Asnebumskit Road at the trail sign near the summit and walk north to South Street, Holden parking area, OR hike the reverse uphill. East Side Trail
Start from Shrewsbury Street to Lake Quinsignamond. This hike has some challenging terrain (slope from Shrewsbury Street and scramble from Belmont Street) and length (3.1 mi.) But it is absolutely a great experience! Holbrook Forest to Donker Farm
This can be hiked in either direction: Salisbury Street trailhead parking following blue blazes to Donker Farm trailhead parking. Puffer - Spring Ledge - Striar Start from the Salisbury Street entrance (591 Salisbury Street, Holden, MA) and hike to Fisher Road Trail Map & Further info coming! STEEP, ROCKY, CHALLENGING
Asnebumskit Hill – Briarcliff Park on the cul-de-sac at the end of Briarcliff Lane in Paxton, proceed through the gate and follow the flagging tape. LOOP, CHALLENGING
Cascades West & Cascades Falls Parking for Cascades West loop at the end of Howard Street in Paxton. Parking for Cascades Falls at Cascading Waters 135 Olean St., Worcester. God’s Acre – Logan Field & God’s Acre – Deed Rock
Start at the Esper Ave. parking area trailhead and hike either the south loop to Deed Rock, the north loop to Fowler Gorge, or both as a T. |
