What are the LAND PROTECTION RESOURCE CENTERS?
Where are the RESOURCE CENTERS?
What are the contents of the RESOURCE CENTERS?
The Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition, in coordination with the host organizations listed below, is pleased to announce the placement of eight regional Land Protection Resource Centers throughout the Commonwealth,
designed to provide information to land conservation practitioners, whether professionals or volunteers. The Resource Centers contain articles, books, fact sheets, and sample documents that can be read on site or copied to take home with you. In addition to the eight locations listed below, two more sites will be added this summer. It is our hope that land trust staff, volunteers, and board members, landowners, local officials, attorneys and
anyone interested in land conservation will make use of this pertinent information. The only costs associated with the Resource Center are for your own transportation and photocopies. To use the Centers, find the
location nearest you from the list below and call to arrange a time to visit. Keep in mind that the Resource hosts are donating their time and office space to this program.
The Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition would like to thank the Land Trust Alliance for a generous grant and discounted and donated books, the host organizations for the space and time devoted to this program, the Members
and Friends of the Coalition whose dues support the Centers, the Law Office of Steve Small for discounted books, the Maine Coast Heritage Trust for a donation of books, the Conservation Trust for North Carolina for discounted
books, and the Biodiversity Project for discounted books.
