Jane recently retired as the President and Forester for the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests after serving 23 years and she is a local, having grown up here in the Barre hills!

Her grandfather was the 1st Town Forester for the Town of Paxton!

Jane preserved 290,000 acres of New Hampshire at SPNHF and recently led the successful grassroots resistance to the 192 mile Northern Pass electric corridor that would have cut a stripe across NH (and the White Mountain National Forest ) from North to South across preserved lands and critical habitats.
