One of the many benefits of conserving open space is the preservation of wildlife. Thanks to the generous donation of a trail camera from Cabela’s in Berlin, MA, we were able to catch this glimpse of a bobcat on our Kinneywoods property.
Jeremy Mancevice filmed a young moose visiting Monadanock Road. It later moved on to Salisbury Pond in Institute Park, and was then relocated by Mass. F&W.
In 2014, teacher Magaret McCandless was kind enough to draw a school group during a Bancroft Middle School Volunteer Event at Nick’s Woods.
